Are these prices final, or are there hidden fees?
Final. The price you see is the price you pay. The only thing not included in a website build is third-party costs like premium fonts, paid stock photography, or specific software licenses (e.g. HubSpot, premium CRM seats). Those get itemized upfront before we start, so there are no surprises mid-project. All prices are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, which we'll add to your invoice based on your billing address.
How does billing work for retainers and projects?
SEO retainers are billed monthly in advance via ACH or credit card on the 1st of each month. Your first month is prorated to the day you sign. Website projects use a 50% deposit to start and 50% on launch for Starter and Standard tiers; Full Build uses a 33/33/33 split (kickoff, midpoint, launch). Custom and enterprise scopes are quoted with their own milestone schedule. Net-15 invoice terms are available for established businesses on request.
Can I cancel my SEO retainer at any time?
Yes. There's no long-term contract on any SEO plan. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. The work we've already done (optimized pages, content, technical fixes, citations) stays on your site. You keep everything. Most clients stay because the monthly data proves it's working, not because they're locked in.
Why would I pay $5,000 for a website when I can get one for $500?
You can absolutely get a $500 website. It will look like every other $500 website (template-based), load slowly, and Google will treat it accordingly. A $5,000 build gets custom design, real SEO architecture, schema markup, conversion optimization, and a foundation that ranks. The website isn't the cost. Being invisible to your customers is. If a $500 site is the right call for you, we'll tell you that on the audit call.
What's actually included in post-launch support?
Bug fixes, content tweaks, plugin/dependency updates, and answering questions about how the site works. It's not a blank check for new features or major redesigns. Those would be a separate scope. The Starter plan includes 14 days, Standard includes 30 days, and Full Build includes 60 days of this kind of hands-on support after launch.
How long until I see SEO results?
SEO is a compounding investment, not a light switch. Most clients see measurable ranking improvements within 3 to 4 months and meaningful traffic and lead growth in the 4 to 6 month range. We set expectations honestly upfront and show you progress every month. If the data isn't trending the right way, we adjust the strategy or you stop paying. No black-box reports.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my SEO plan later?
Absolutely. You can move between Foundation, Growth, and Domination at any time with 30 days' notice. Most clients start at Foundation or Growth and upgrade once they see the trajectory in the monthly reports. Some downgrade to Foundation after a year of Growth-tier results to maintain the position they've built.
