Where they were stuck.
Red Rock Veterinary Health, a Fear Free® certified practice in Colorado Springs, had a basic Squarespace site that wasn't pulling its weight. They ranked for around 236 keywords (almost entirely brand searches and long-tail noise) but were missing on every commercial-intent term that drives new patients: 'veterinarian colorado springs,' 'vet clinic colorado springs,' 'animal hospital colorado springs.' The site also failed to communicate their differentiated fear-free approach to pet owners researching local vets, which meant losing prospects to generic animal hospitals before they ever heard the practice's name.
What we built.
We rebuilt the site from scratch on Next.js 15 with full rebranding, six dedicated service pages with transparent pricing, and a local SEO architecture engineered to dominate Colorado Springs search. Every page got semantic HTML, local business schema, location-specific copy, and intent-matched content for the searches pet owners actually run. Sanity CMS lets the practice publish blog content and update services without engineering. Fear Free® branding runs throughout, and we hit 94/100 PageSpeed plus WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, both of which feed directly into local search rankings.

In 13 months since launch, organic ranking keywords grew from 236 to 701 (+197%). The site now holds first-page Google rankings for every major non-brand vet term in Colorado Springs: 'veterinarian colorado springs' (#7, 720 vol), 'vet clinic colorado springs' (#7, 1,300 vol), 'animal hospital of colorado springs' (#7, 1,300 vol), 'vets in colorado springs' (#7, 720 vol), 'animal hospitals colorado springs' (#5, 480 vol), and seven more, combining for 6,000+ monthly searches captured on page one. US search impressions grew 180% year-over-year, and the site now drives a steady stream of new-patient inquiries through the contact form.

Frontend
Built with Next.js 15 and TypeScript for a robust, type-safe application with the latest React 19 features. Tailwind CSS v4 provides professional styling with custom veterinary brand colors (deep red #B31B1B primary with dark gray and light gray accents). Framer Motion powers smooth animations throughout the site.
Content Management
Sanity CMS integration provides a user-friendly content management system for non-technical staff to easily update services, pricing, team information, and blog content. Custom schemas were created for all content types with proper validation.
Performance
Achieved exceptional performance metrics with 94/100 PageSpeed Performance, 91 SEO score, and 100/100 Best Practices. Implemented image optimization, code splitting, lazy loading, and edge caching for sub-second load times on all pages.
