How it works
Intro call
We talk through your site, your stack, and what organic search should be producing. I will tell you plainly whether I am the right fit.
Scoped proposal
A written scope with a fixed price, timeline, and deliverables. Any published "from" price is confirmed here, before anything starts.
Kickoff
Access to Search Console, analytics, and optionally your repo, then the work starts. The first deliverable is a baseline, so every later result is measured against where you started.
Pricing
Fixed scopes with published prices. Start with the free call, or go straight to the work that fits.

Terms
- All prices are in US dollars. A "from" price is confirmed in writing after the intro call, once I have seen the site.
- Retainers start with a 3 month initial term, then go month to month.
- Audits and builds: 50 percent to start, 50 percent on delivery.
- Content production is not included. I write briefs and strategy; your team or a writer you choose produces the content.
- I take on a limited number of retainers at a time, because I do the work myself.
What this is not
- Not a content mill. I write briefs and strategy; your team or a writer you choose writes the content.
- No guaranteed rankings or AI citations. I measure and report instead.
- No link schemes and no bought mentions.
25 percent off for the first 3 software clients
The first 3 software companies to sign get 25 percent off an audit or the first three months of a retainer. In exchange, we publish a case study together with real numbers. I am offering this because I would rather show you software results than tell you about them.
3 spots, then the program closes.
Is this the right fit?
I would rather say no on the first call than sell you the wrong thing.
A good fit
Not a fit
- Companies before product market fit, with no traffic, looking for a retainer
- Anyone who wants guaranteed rankings or guaranteed AI citations
- Teams that only want content volume
What to have ready
None of this is required for the intro call. Having it ready makes the call more useful and the proposal more precise.
Prefer to send details first?
A short form. I take a first look at your site before I reply.
Frequently asked questions
What happens in an SEO consultation with Ravana Solutions?
An SEO consultation with Ravana Solutions starts with a free 30 minute video call about your site, your stack, and what organic search should be producing. If there is a fit, you get a scoped proposal with a fixed price within 2 business days, then a kickoff. Teams that want a senior second opinion right away can book a 90 minute Strategy session for $450, credited toward any audit booked within 30 days. Ravana Solutions offers consultations to software companies and platforms across the US from Norfolk, Virginia, and every engagement is run by its founder, Nick Mangubat, a developer who builds his own audit tooling.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
You work with me directly. The person on the intro call is the person who runs the crawl, writes the tickets, and sends the report. There are no account managers, no handoffs, and no junior team learning on your site. The tradeoff is capacity: I take on a limited number of retainers at a time, and I do not produce content at volume.
Do you write content?
I write briefs and strategy: what each page should cover, the search intent behind it, its structure, internal links, and schema. Your team or a writer you choose produces the content. Content production is not included in any price on this page.
Do you guarantee rankings or AI citations?
No. Nobody controls Google's rankings or what an AI assistant says. What I measure instead: indexation by template, rankings for the queries that matter, mentions and citations on a fixed AI prompt set, and the signups, demos, or leads that come from organic search. You see those numbers every month against a baseline taken at the start.
Do you need access to our codebase?
It helps, but it is not required. Read access to a repo or a staging site lets me point to the exact file behind an issue. On a retainer, I can open pull requests if you want me to.
Do you work with very early companies or teams before launch?
Yes, through the Strategy session: a 90 minute working session with a written action plan, which is the right size for a team setting up its site, analytics, and first pages. Retainers usually are not a fit until there is a product and some traffic to work with.
Can you work inside a compliance or clinical review process?
Yes. For digital health clients I plan around review: related pages are batched so reviewers see them together, every change is documented, and nothing ships without your sign off. I do not make medical claims, and I do not claim any compliance certification.
What does "from" mean on a price?
It is the starting price for a typical scope. I confirm the final fixed price in writing after the intro call, once I have seen the size and complexity of the site. For example, the Technical SEO + AI Search Audit is priced from $3,500 for sites up to about 10,000 URLs; a larger site with several subdomains costs more, and you will know the number before anything starts.
Do you travel for on site work?
Yes. I am based in Norfolk, Virginia, and work on site anywhere in the US. An On site workshop day is $3,000, plus travel billed at cost. Travel is waived for teams in Hampton Roads: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, and Newport News.
